We’ve had Bluecat for about 15 years now -through 2 large mergers including a BAM merger and 40-50 migrations. I’m certain that we have a lot of zombie records out there, in all locations you can have a zombie (forward, reverse zones as well as on the DHCP side of the house).
I’m looking to understand what other folks are doing to clean up stale entries reasonably safely since we don’t have Microsoft’s scavenging concept.
We’ve had a couple of unfortunate experiences with reconciliation early in our Bluecat experience so never have tried much more with that.
Appreciate any suggestions.
