I’ve not had any success in using the compressed files like “restv2-diagnostics.log.9.gz”. The data is nothing like the v1 logs. It looks as though every line that is in the normal file has a folder named after it and another subfolder resulting in thousands of folders and subfolders with an empty file. It’s not usable. Has anyone figured this out?

Has anyone gotten BSUS working on PodMan. We are not wanting to install Docker CE becuase our server team does not support Redhat Unix and Docker any more. We have moved everything to Oracle Linix and PodMan. So far the repomse from Bluecat is that they do not know if BSUS would work on PodMan and that it wouldn;t be supported. They have not tested the application that configuration.

I’m trying to find a way to retrieve the Associated Deployment Role Objects for servers, including the object info that I’m able to see in the GUI (zones, etc). I’m able to use this below to get the roles, but that embedded data doesn’t include the zone/network, and using the returned ID to get the object doesn’t contain that data either. Is there another way? {{bam_url}}/api/v2/servers/:id?fields=embed(deploymentRoles)

Hello,I’m working on converting all our scripts from V1 to V2 of the API on version 9.6.1, but I’m struggling to find the right call to replace “GetLinkedEntities”.  For reference, we’re needing to do a search by MacAddress and return all the IP Addresses associated with that mac address, or even a single IP associated with that address.   The V1 to V2 guide lists several API Areas where this should be possible:GET /api/v2/tags/{collectionId}/taggedResources GET /api/v2/userGroups/{collectionId}/users GET /api/v2/addreses/{collectionId}/resourceRecords GET /api/v2/resourceRecords/{collectionId}/dependentRecords GET /api/v2/macPools/{collectionId}/macAddresses GET /api/v2/serverGroups/{collectionId}/servers GET /api/v2/locations/{collectionId}/annotatedResourcesHowever, I have had zero luck getting any of these to work at all.  I can do a straight mac address search and return the MacID without any issues, but getting all the linked entities to this mac address within the system has bee

I recently wen’t on a trip to CMX summit in SF. It’s a yearly conference focused on building communities. It’s always full of awesome ideas and learnings that I try and take back and apply to this community for you all. Before the conference, I had ½ a day in San Francisco and took my new camera to play around with it. I thought I’d post some of the photos in this community fun thread and kick it off. As some of you may have heard from your Customer Care representative, Customer Care is rolling out a new SFTP server.This new system will replace bluecatsftp.bluecatnetworks.com. The hostname has changed, it is now transfer.bluecatnetworks.com. Eventually, the old host record will point to this new server, but during this time of transition, they will be separate.SFTP services on transfer.bluecatnetworks.com are currently available to you. You should start using this server as soon as you need to send data to Customer Care or Professional Services. We understand your change-management cycles to allow traffic to this system may not be swift, so we will have both running in parallel for a few weeks. We plan to shutting down the SFTP service on the old system on 12 May 2025. If your change-management process does not allow for that quick of a turn-around, we can work with you.This system remains SFTP-only. You will continue to use your current SFTP client.
