Hi,
So, Bluecat Integrity supports split service/management addresses — great! This operates on eth0 (service) and eth2 (management) as standard when enabled.
It also supports LACP channel bonding — great! This operates on eth0 and eth3 when enabled, and you can create multiple VLANs as sub-interfaces on this bond.
What I’d like to be able to do is to combine these functions — set up bond0, configure a service interface on e.g. VLAN 1 as bond0.1, configure a management interface on e.g. VLAN 200 as bond0.200, and enjoy an absence of single points of failure for both management and service.
I’ve been going through the Bluecat Integrity manual and poking an appliance, and can’t find a way to do this.
Is there a trick I’m missing?
Best wishes,
David
