Has anyone gotten BSUS working on PodMan. We are not wanting to install Docker CE becuase our server team does not support Redhat Unix and Docker any more. We have moved everything to Oracle Linix and PodMan. So far the repomse from Bluecat is that they do not know if BSUS would work on PodMan and that it wouldn;t be supported. They have not tested the application that configuration.

It appears that BSUS will only be supported on Docker / Docker Compose.

I can’t remember if when we briefly ran BSUS if it was under podman or RHEL docker, but we do run Gateway under podman - and doing so is supported by Bluecat.  Since BSUS uses docker-compose you’d need to have the appropriate podman equivalents installed - however if Bluecat isn’t going to support it then I’d be leery.  If they’re going to support Gateway on podman it’d be nice if they followed suit with all of the other adaptive apps/plugins.  Not doing so is just introducing more fragmentation.

We have a case with support on getting BSUS running on REHL 9.4 and docker but it's pending some permissions issues.

It’s my understanding that BSUS would run on Docker / Docke Compose. I was asking and running it using  Oracle Linix and PodMan.
