In case you’re wondering what a rank is, it’s a ladder that you can rise up in the community through participation. It’s a badge of honor for those who contribute to the community, and it helps everyone quickly get a sense of which members are the true experts. You’ll know when you get a new rank as we’ll send you a nice message about it.
Ranks are based on thresholds that you reach through joining and participating in the community. We won’t share the precise thresholds and data points behind our system, but here is a quick explanation of the titles and what they signify:

| Network VIP Elite | This is the highest rank in the community. Network VIP Elites are the pillars of the community and their contributions are legendary. It’s tough to reach this level and anyone who reaches this milestone is a serious contributor! |
| Authoritative Expert | Authoritative Experts are the cream of the crop. They are known as the leaders of the NVIP community and can speak authoritatively on any number of topics. |
| Trusted Expert | Trusted Experts take it to the next level, and are the people other users turn to whenever they need advice from someone who really knows their stuff. |
| Trusted Resolver | Trusted Resolvers are exactly that - trusted! The highest tier “Resolver” Their answers show their expertise and their willingness to help out their peers. |
| Verified Resolver | Verified Resolvers are really in the swing of things on the community. Answering questions consistently with high quality answers. |
| Helpful Resolvers | Helpful Resolvers are consistently answering questions, and their peers really appreciate their insight. |
| Active Resolvers | Active resolvers help out their fellow community members, and have had at least one of their replies marked best answer. Way to go! |
| Authenticated Node | Authenticated Node members are consistently starting topics as well as getting and giving likes. |
| Active Endpoint | Active endpoint status means you’ve been doing a great job of keeping active in NVIP, posting, replying and liking others' posts. |
| Well Acknowledged (ACK) | Well Acknowledged members are those who not only have been active, but whose peers appreciate their contributions and let them know it. Keep up the great work! |
| Consistent Uptimer | Consistent Uptimers are exactly that - consistent! Their activity is key to the buzz on the community. |
| Configured Rookie | Configured Rookies are proficient community members who contribute to the conversations on a regular basis. |
| Provisioned Rookie | Provisioned Rookies are really starting to get the hang of the community, posting comments and replies and establishing a presence. |
| Forwarder | Forwarders are spreading positivity in the community by participating in discussions and liking others' posts. We appreciate the positivity you bring! |
| NVIP Newbie | NVIP Newbies are members who are getting started by logging in and posting. |
